Hey all, my name is Cali; I am 28 and have been around bikes my entire life. The first experience was when I was about five or six, my Aunt gave me a spin around the block on her custom trike, and from that day on I was completely and utterly obsessed.

I have been pillion on a number of occasions, but never taken the jump myself. Sad times I know!

I worked for a reputable motorbike insurance company for a few years, I went to a number of bike shows with them and even bumped into Charlie Boorman and Ewan McGreggor not long after their infamous tour.

The other half has been riding since he was knee high to a grasshopper and has reignited my engine. I have been to the Reading Toy Run for the last two years, and have now decided to bite the bullet and get my own ride. Fingers crossed by the end of the year, I will no longer be ‘just a pillion’.

Even my six-year-old daughter wants her very own, although her little purple bicycle will be enough for now, I’m not sure how long that will actually last.
